It’s a fairly generic name for a hotel chain. The el cortez is just the name of the one we’re staying at. It’s not actually a casino, per se. Its more like a hotel buffet type thing. But it is in fact a casino. We do not go to a casino for the lights and the noise. We go to a casino because we like to play, and we like to gamble, and we like to drink.
The el cortez casino has a very famous and very well known name. It is called the Blacktree. It is one of the three oldest casinos in Las Vegas, along with the Mirage and the Flamingo. It offers a wide variety of casino games including slots, blackjack, craps, roulette, and a few other games. It also has a lot of other things to do, like food and drink. We went there for breakfast this morning, and it was very nice.
And it was very nice to read a review by a good friend of ours, who’s been playing here for a while, that said the food and drink are fantastic. So we were looking forward to going back there tonight.
