So much of the time, our brains tell us what to do, but we don’t always listen. We try, we do, and we eventually get what we need to do. Most of the time, however, no one hears anything.
The problem with this is that most of our instincts and mental state are stored in our mind. We forget when things arent working like they are. This is because when our brain is in a different state, we tend to forget. It’s also because our brain has to keep a pretty constant state of not being in charge of what we do. It is the same reason that you will not feel like you have the right answer when your mind is trying to tell you.
But we can’t just leave our brains lying around like that. We need to remember what to do and when to do it. This is why we have those “self-awareness” techniques, those reminders that our brain is still operating on auto pilot. We can’t just walk off and forget our brain. It’s too important and it needs to be able to function the way it does.
You’ll find the best way to use your brain is through self-awareness. The more you learn about your brain, the more you will be able to control it, and the more you will be able to use it to your advantage. Think of it this way, you can control your mind by learning to control your habits, and you can learn to control your habits by learning to control your mind.

You might need to look for a way to get more involved in what youre doing. You might need to take a few weeks off from work. You might need to take time off from your family. Whatever your reasons are, you might need to be aware of them.
While youre still in a state of alertness, you might not want to be doing what you need to do, or you might want to do something else. It depends on what youre doing. If youre working on a project, you might want to go for it. If youre trying to fit in a new hobby, you might want to go back to what you were doing before. If youre trying to improve your skills, you might want to get back to them.
